The Story of Brown’s Bar

Brown’s Bar’s journey of friendship and connection in Tbilisi.

Brown’s Bar began its journey in the charming streets of Orbeliani Square, right in the heart of Tbilisi. From the very beginning, our vision was simple — to create a place where expats and locals could come together, relax, and share good times over great drinks.

What started as a small pub filled with laughter, live music, and familiar faces has now grown into a lively home for the international community. After an amazing start in Orbeliani, we moved to Jerusalem Square 1, Kote Afkhazi Street, to embrace the vibrant energy of Tbilisi’s Old Town — a location that truly reflects our spirit.

At Brown’s Bar, we’ve always believed that a great pub is more than just a place to grab a pint. It’s a space where friendships are built, stories are shared, and everyone feels at home — whether you’re new to Georgia or have lived here all your life.

Today, we continue that same mission: bringing people together through good food, live music, sports, and the warm hospitality that has made us one of the most loved spots in Tbilisi’s nightlife. From families and travellers to long-time residents, Brown’s Bar welcomes everyone to be part of our story — and make a few of their own along the way.

Our new home blends comfort with character, offering cosy corners to chat over a pint, open spaces for live events, and an atmosphere that makes everyone — expats, locals, and travellers alike — feel instantly welcome.

And with our prime location in the Old Town, you’re just steps away from Tbilisi’s most iconic landmarks. Wander down from Kote Afkhazi Street or Liberty Square, or drop in after exploring the Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, the famous sulfur baths, or Narikala Fortress. Whether you’re sightseeing, socialising, or simply looking for a place to unwind, Brown’s Bar is your perfect stop along the way.

Come for the drinks, stay for the atmosphere — and leave with a few new friends and stories to tell.

Brown’s Bar Raises 20,000 GEL for Tbilisi’s D.O.G Charity

Our weekly pub quiz brings together locals, expats, and dog lovers to support stray dogs across Tbilisi.

At Brown’s Bar, we’ve always believed that good times can make a real difference. What started as a simple Wednesday night pub quiz has grown into one of the most heart-warming traditions in Tbilisi’s nightlife. Together with our amazing guests, we’ve now raised over 20,000 GEL to support the D.O.G Charity Organisation, helping stray and abandoned dogs throughout Georgia.

Each week, teams of locals, travellers, and expats join us for a night of trivia, laughter, and friendly competition — all while contributing to a meaningful cause. Half of the quiz entry fee goes directly to the charity, supporting dog rescues, medical care, and shelter work across Tbilisi.

Our goal has always been to create a place where everyone — humans and animals alike — can feel cared for. None of this would be possible without our loyal guests who return week after week to enjoy the quiz, raise a pint, and lend a hand to those in need.

We’re incredibly proud of the community spirit that makes Brown’s Bar more than just a pub. It’s a place where kindness, laughter, and a shared love for good causes come together in the heart of Tbilisi.
